ROAD BIKES

We carry the Trek line of road bikes. This is the same bike
brand that Lance Armstrong rode to seven Tour De France victories. Combine that
with Trek owned Bontrager parts and there’s no question that the best road bikes
come with the Trek name on the down tube. Because of the number of models and
frame sizes available we carry a limited number of road bikes on hand but we do
keep a size run in the store for test rides and we try to carry a model in each
of the different Trek lines. After your test ride we can tailor a bike to you in
fit and price and order the bike if necessary. You will find all of the models
and specifications at

TREK 1.2 The Trek 1.2 is a new design this year. Alpha aluminum frame,
carbon fiber front fork and combination shift levers/brake levers make this bike
a joy to ride. It is extremely light weight for its price tag and offers a great
value for the rider who gets out 2-3 times a week. Both colors are excellent and
a women’s specific design is also available.

| TREK 1.2 or 1.2 WSD RETAIL - $770.00 |
THURMAN’S BIKE & SPORT - $699.99 |
TREK 2.1 This Trek road bike has an upgrade in frame, wheels and a 9
speed Shimano shifting system. If you’re looking to take it up a notch in your
riding but don’t want to break the bank, look no further. Newly designed
aerodynamic frame takes weight out and reinforces the joint areas. Carrera Blue
and silver metallic frame not only sounds fast, it is fast! This bike also comes
in a women’s specific design.

| LEMOND 2.1 RETAIL - $1,260.00 |
THURMAN’S BIKE & SPORT - $1,149.99 |
TREK MADONE Trek’s flagship line is the Madone. Sending more racers to
the winning circle than any other line of racing bikes in recent history. For
2008 this line has been redesigned and they are lighter and faster than ever
before. Madone bikes are full carbon fiber frames and forks using fewer pieces
to construct the frame than all of their competition. This makes Trek frames
stronger, lighter and more responsive. Fourteen models of the Madone to choose
from.

| TREK MADONE RETAIL - $2,100 - $8,300 |
THURMAN’S BIKE & SPORT - $1,899 - $7,499 |
TREK 7.3 FX This bike is classified as a hybrid but I include it with
the road bikes because of the design of the bike. The FX series is basically a
road bike with a straight handlebar. For a rider who likes the stability of a
straight bar or also enjoys light trail use or commuting to work, this bike
makes a lot of sense. The FX eliminates the front shock and suspension seat post
found on other hybrids. Upgrades including lighter wheels and quicker shifting
make for a very light and responsive ride. At our store, the FX series has been
a growing line of bikes. If you’re not ready for the down turn handlebar road
bike or you like to sit up more while you ride then a test ride is definitely in
order. The 7.3 FX has a new hydroformed aluminum frame, Shimano Deore rear
derailleur, V style brakes and 24-speed Shimano Rapid Fire shifters. This bike
sells itself after one test ride.

| TREK 7.2 FX RETAIL - $460.00 |
THURMAN'S BIKE & SPORT - $419.99 |
| TREK 7.3 FX RETAIL - $570.00 |
THURMAN’S BIKE & SPORT - $519.99 |
