Fleece Watch Cap
Acrylic Knit / Fleece Beanie Cap
Winter of 2004, the wind was blowing 25 mph
across the runway. A slight haze in the air as the ice crystals
bounced off my face. Must have been 10 degrees outside but it
felt like -30. I was lining up the p-51 with the center line.
That old plane and I had sure seen some rough times and all I
wanted was to have it down in one piece. I took a quick look
behind me to see if the Winterfest queen was still around
knowing that her standing there in that 2 piece would surely
warm my blood. Unfortunately she had left for the warmth of her
apartment and an Irish Cream Latte and that is why I was so glad
I had my Omahawks thermal lined stocking hat with double
stitched seams and soft underlining that protected the tops of
my ears. My confidence returned and I brought the 51 in for a
picture perfect landing.
